Pampa ISD COVID Update #22-April 7, 2020

 Good evening Pampa families,

Thank you all again for sharing your “New Skills” with us on social media and for accepting our challenges this week.  During this difficult time of “social distancing”, it is a struggle to stay connected.  We appreciate your engagement in our fun activities.  We genuinely love seeing our students and their families and it brings us such joy to stay “connected” with you in this way.  Please keep sharing!  We have compiled videos of some of the highlights from the shares we received out there.  You can see the latest videos on our Facebook page.

Our challenge for tomorrow, Wednesday, is for you to show-n-tell us about your FAVORITE THINGS!  This one will be fun!  Please take just a few moments and connect with us!

April 8 - Favorite Things Day

We are into our second week of @HomeLearning and we are slowly moving into our new “normal”.  Although we hope this does not last much longer, we believe our efforts to maintain a continuity of learning is providing some sort of “normal” for our students.  However, we do recognize the struggle and appreciate the efforts of those parents, caregivers, siblings, and family members doing your best to manage all that this “new normal” brings to your family and to your home.  Please remember we are here for you.  Send us an email with your questions at pampaisdinfo@pampaisd.net or give us a call at 669-4700.

CHANGE IN UPDATE SCHEDULE

We have provided daily updates over the past weeks and have made it our purpose to keep our students, parents, staff, and community informed and engaged during this unprecedented time.  It is our desire to continue to keep our stakeholders informed and abreast of the most recent improvements to our website, the enhancements to our services, and of course the details as they become available.

As of today, Tuesday, April 7, 2020, we will move to regular updates on Sundays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays at 6:00pm.  If breaking news becomes available, we will of course change our schedule and get those updates out to you as soon as possible.  Please check our website regularly and follow us on social media to stay informed.

Again, we want to thank our staff, teachers, parents, and community for coming together during this time of being apart.  We are #inthistogether and will be #strongerforit in the end!  Keep your chin up Pampa and continue to serve each other by staying home and staying well.

Dr. Tanya Larkin, Superintendent
