📣 Pampa High School DECA Takes on State! 💼✨
Our PHS DECA students have arrived in Dallas for the State Competition today and tomorrow, ready to showcase their business leadership skills!
As part of their trip, they had an incredible opportunity to tour Globe Life Field, home of the Texas Rangers. But the real highlight? A surprise interview with the legendary Chuck Morgan, the longtime public announcer for the Rangers! With an unmatched streak of over 3,200 games announced without missing a single one, he shared insights into dedication, passion, and the power of showing up—values that resonate deeply with our Harvesters!
Good luck to our DECA competitors and their teacher, Mark Murray! Show up, work hard, and make Pampa proud! 💚💛 #PampaDECA #WeAreHarvesters #ShowUpWorkHardServeOthers #DECAState2025 #GlobeLifeField

Hello Pampa ISD families,
With snow and ice expected to stick around overnight, we’ve made the decision to cancel school tomorrow, Tuesday, January 21st. The roads just won’t be safe for travel, and your safety is always our priority.
Take care, stay safe, and enjoy the snow day! We’ll keep you posted if there are any further updates.
Pampa ISD Administration

Due to inclement weather conditions, Pampa ISD will have a 2-hour delayed start on Tuesday, January 21st. Buses will run 2 hours later than their regular schedule.
We will continue to monitor the weather this afternoon and evening and will provide updates on any changes to the school day tomorrow.
Stay safe and warm!

Hello Pampa ISD families,
After closely monitoring the weather and consulting updated forecasts, we have determined that snow and ice will continue overnight, creating hazardous travel conditions for Friday morning. To prioritize the safety of our students, staff, and families, Pampa ISD will be closed tomorrow, Friday, January 10th.
We understand that school closures can disrupt family schedules, and this decision was not made lightly. However, we believe this is the safest course of action.
Please stay safe during these winter conditions. We will provide updates through our usual communication channels if there are further impacts to school schedules.
Thank you for your understanding and cooperation. Enjoy the snow day!
Pampa ISD Administration

The safety of our students and staff is always our top priority. Our administration has been closely monitoring the weather since yesterday evening. At that time, forecasts indicated only a slight possibility of snow, and we made the decision to proceed with a regular school day based on the best information available.
However, as the day has progressed, weather conditions have changed more rapidly than anticipated, and snow accumulation is now affecting travel in our area. Out of an abundance of caution, we have decided to implement an early release today, January 9th. Elementary campuses will release at 12:00 p.m. and Pampa Junior High and Pampa High School will release at 12:40 pm.
Please be assured that buses will operate on their adjusted schedules to transport students home safely. We will continue to monitor the weather throughout the day and evening and provide an update this evening by 8:00 PM with our plans for school tomorrow.
We appreciate your understanding and flexibility as we work to respond to these evolving conditions. Thank you for your cooperation and continued support.
Pampa ISD Administration

We want to remind you of our inclement weather procedures as we enter the time of year when winter weather could occur. If weather conditions impact school operations, we will share updates on our district website, social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, X), and through the ParentSquare notification system.

Reminder! January 20th is a student holiday and a staff professional development day.
An old calendar showing January 13th as a student holiday has resurfaced, but it is not correct. Calendars were updated last school year to reflect the January 20th holiday. Please disregard the old calendar and mark your calendars for January 20th as the correct STUDENT HOLIDAY.
