The Spanish Department at Pampa High School would like to thank Melanie Bonilla, the owner of Pampa Furniture Exchange, for coming to our Spanish 3 classes and giving our students an idea of what it is like to run a business! Melanie spoke to our freshmen and sophomores about what it takes to manage a business, to make it profitable, to buy inventory, to deal with customers, and to train great employees.
She also answered questions from our kids on the number of hours that are required to accomplish all the tasks needed to run the business and what personality types work well in a business setting. Thanks again to Melanie and Pampa Furniture Exchange for taking time from a busy schedule to invest in the youth of Pampa!
