Our school district’s Visual and Performing Arts programs offer a vibrant, immersive experience for students from Pre-K through high school, nurturing creativity, confidence, and collaboration every step of the way. Starting in Pre-K, students are introduced to the joy of music, movement, and visual expression, building a foundation that grows as they progress through each grade level. Elementary Programs

Our Elementary Fine Arts programs inspire young learners to explore their creativity and self-expression in a supportive, engaging environment. Through our dynamic curriculum in music and visual arts, students from kindergarten to fifth grade are introduced to a world of artistic possibilities, where they can discover new talents, develop essential skills, and build confidence.

At our 4th and 5th grade campus, students have the unique opportunity to audition for our prestigious Honor Choir, where they can refine their vocal talents and perform at school and community events. They also participate in our cherished annual Veterans program, where students honor veterans through music, art, and performances, creating a meaningful connection with our community’s history and values.

Each element of our fine arts program is designed to enrich students' academic experience by fostering creativity, improving focus, and enhancing emotional well-being. Whether in a music performance, an art exhibit, or a classroom play, our students proudly showcase their work, celebrating their growth and unique contributions to our school community. Pampa Junior High Programs

Our Junior High Visual and Performing Arts programs offer students a rich array of choices to explore and develop their artistic talents. At this level, students can choose from specialized courses in art, choir, theater, and band, each designed to foster creativity, teamwork, and self-discipline while building on foundational skills from elementary school.

In Art, students dive deeper into techniques such as drawing, painting, and sculpting, working with a range of materials and styles. They learn to express themselves visually, and many participate in competitions that allow them to showcase their creativity and craftsmanship.

For those passionate about music, our Choir and Band programs provide opportunities to refine vocal and instrumental skills. Choir students learn advanced vocal techniques, harmonization, and performance dynamics, while band students have the chance to master an instrument in a supportive ensemble setting. Both programs include numerous performance opportunities throughout the year, including school concerts, community events, and regional competitions, where students build confidence and showcase their hard work.

Our Theater program introduces students to acting, stagecraft, and the basics of theatrical production. Students develop public speaking skills, emotional expression, and the art of collaboration as they work together on plays, monologues, and improv exercises. The theater students also participate in annual performances and may compete in theater competitions, giving them valuable experience in front of an audience and the excitement of being part of a live production.

Pampa High School Programs

Our Pampa High School Visual and Performing Arts programs offer students an advanced, immersive experience, with opportunities to pursue their artistic passions and develop their talents to the highest level. Students can choose from specialized courses in art, choir, theater, and band, each designed to refine their skills, encourage personal expression, and foster a commitment to excellence.

In Art, students explore advanced techniques in drawing, painting, sculpture, and mixed media, diving into projects that allow for personal expression and technical mastery. High school art students can participate in the Visual Arts Scholastic Event (VASE), a prestigious competition where they showcase their artwork, receive feedback from professionals, and compete for recognition and awards.

For students with a passion for music, our Choir and Band programs offer rigorous training and a variety of performance and competition opportunities. In choir, students develop vocal technique, harmonization, and ensemble performance skills, and they are introduced to Musical Theater, which blends acting and singing in vibrant productions. Choir students participate in both regional and state competitions, where they can earn individual and group honors. Band students, in addition to concert performances, are introduced to Marching Band, a dynamic combination of music and movement that builds discipline, stamina, and teamwork. The marching band performs at football games, school events, and competitions, creating memorable experiences for students and the community alike.

Our Theater program offers students the chance to delve deeply into acting, stage production, and the craft of storytelling. High school theater students have the opportunity to compete in UIL One-Act Play and other regional competitions, gaining experience and accolades as they bring powerful performances to the stage.
