Pre-K Programs/Early Education
Pampa ISD Pre-Kindergarten(Pre-K) is a voluntary preschool program that serves children ages 5 and under.
Your child will experience quality curriculum with an emphasis on mindfulness, social-emotional development, and leadership skills. Research consistently shows that children who attend quality preschool programs tend to perform better in school, have higher graduation rates, and enjoy improved social skills. By investing in early education, we give children the tools they need to thrive in school and beyond, ultimately contributing to a stronger, more resilient community.
According to a study published by Raise Your Hand Texas, children who attend a preschool program were 54% more likely to be ready for kindergarten.
All Pre-K and Head Start children must be 4 years old on or before September 1 of the year the child will be enrolled in. Head Start will consider enrollment for children who are 3 years old by September 1st.
Experienced Teachers
Many Pre-K programs don’t require their teachers to have specialized experience in early childhood education. At our program, however, most of our teachers hold degrees and certifications in early childhood education, bringing expertise and a passion for teaching young children.
We are committed to providing the highest quality educational experience for your child, ensuring they receive the guidance and support they need to flourish in their early years.
Full-Day Programs
All our programs provide full-day classes for our four-year-old students, ensuring a consistent schedule for both children and parents with no need for midday pick-ups. Your child will enjoy a full day of engaging learning, including a Texas-approved curriculum that prepares them for Kindergarten.
We also provide healthy lunches, physical education, music, and interactive learning centers, creating a well-rounded, enriching experience that nurtures growth and development in every area.
TEA State Curriculum
Our Pre-K programs follow a Texas-approved curriculum designed to prepare your child for success in Kindergarten. Through engaging lessons and activities, we ensure they build a strong foundation for their educational journey ahead.
Our Tots-n-Training program is dedicated to fostering a love of reading from an early age by providing free books to children from birth to age five. This program supports early literacy development, helping young children build language and comprehension skills that prepare them for future learning.
