The Pampa ISD Mission
The mission of Pampa ISD is to produce learners who are compassionate, competent, confident, and future-ready!
Our Beliefs
We believe...
Each student deserves a classroom with high-quality instruction where they learn how to learn in a way that sets up for life-long success.
Early childhood education provides a strong foundation for future success.
All students deserve experiences and passions in order to define their successful futures.
Strong relationships between all members of the community are critical to student success.
In the value of learning from failure and overcoming struggles in order to become perseverant.
The community that takes radical responsibility for developing, supporting, and encouraging students creates an environment for continued success.
In educating the whole child.
Reading and Writing
Listening, talking, reading, and writing are all parts of early literacy learning- and they're connected.
Learning to read, with an emphasis on phonemic awareness, phonics, sight words, and reading comprehension begins in our Pre-K program.
Math
Math provides an effective way of building mental discipline and encourages logical reasoning and mental rigor.
In addition, mathematical knowledge plays a crucial role in understanding the contents of other school subjects such as science, social studies, and even music and art.
Science
Science enhances your child's curiosity, wonder, and questioning, building on their natural desire to understand the world around them.
Scientific inquiry is introduced and encountered by students as an activity that can be carried out by everyone including themselves.
Social Studies
Social Studies connects students with the real world to teach them to become good citizens.
In today's interconnected world, students must be prepared to interact with people of all cultures and communities, and social studies prepares them for this.
Early childhood education provides a strong foundation for future success.
Early literacy and math are two important skill areas that develop during the early childhood years and are related to one another. Early literacy and math skills are critical for early school success.
Pampa ISD is committed to providing quality early childhood education for all students through a FREE, full-day Pre-K program. High-quality teachers provide a fun, well-rounded program for our students.
Sparking a love for reading is one of the most important ways to foster a spirit of education amongst our youth and equip our students with the necessary literacy skills. Through the Tots-n-Training Early Literacy Program, Pampa ISD provides FREE books to children ages birth to 5 years of age. Weekly newsletters with parent resources assist parents in connecting the home and school learning partnership.

Programs Available to Your Child
We offer several specialized programs for your child. These programs help provide a strong foundation, different learning environments, and/or focus on workplace training.
Multi-Tiered Systems of Support
A multi-tiered system of support (MTSS) is a proactive and preventative framework that integrates data and instruction to maximize student achievement and support students' social, emotional, and behavioral needs from a strengths-based perspective.
MTSS offers a framework for educators to engage in data-based decision-making related to program improvement, high-quality instruction and intervention, social and emotional learning, and positive behavioral supports necessary to ensure positive outcomes for districts, schools, teachers, and students.
Career and Technical Education
Career and Technical Education (CTE) programs allow students to explore career pathways during high school and are organized into programs of study.
Pampa ISD offers 11 pathways with industry certifications and hands-on training. 92% of Pampa High School students are engaged in CTE, learning skills in the classroom and on the job. 95% of our 2024 graduating class was CCMR-ready.
Dual Credit Classes
Dual Credit/AP allows students to take college courses while still in school through our partnership with Clarendon College, saving money on tuition.
More students are taking and passing AP/CLEP exams than ever before and we have several who graduated high school with an associate degree from our local Community College.
Our Spanish Department is recognized as one of the highest-performing programs in the Panhandle with several students making a perfect score on their exams.
PAAS
When your child participates in Pampa Advanced Academic Services(PAAS) they receive academic services that are geared towards advanced academic opportunities for learners who just need different classroom activities and implementation to engage their mind.
Services look different as children learn and grow but overall the goal of Advanced Academic Services is to create authentic project-based learning opportunities for learners to engage in throughout their educational career.
Advanced Placement(AP)
Our AP program offers students the opportunity to take college-level courses and exams in high school and earn college credit, advanced placement, or both at many colleges and universities.
By earning college credit in high school and skipping introductory courses in college, your child can save time and money as they work toward a college degree.
Visual and Performing Arts
Research shows that after just two years of music education, students show substantial improvement in reading scores and how the brain processes speech.
From elementary through high school, our programs develop the gifts and abilities of our students, inspiring their creativity and providing opportunities to express it through competitions and performances.
Many of our students pursue their dreams and continue their involvement in the Arts after high school.
