Good afternoon students and families,
Thank you for your feedback on the surveys this week. The feedback you provided will be extremely helpful as we continue to improve our services.
We did hear from Governor Abbott today about schools. He noted in his press conference “it is unsafe to open schools now and for the foreseeable future.” He provided several details with numerous executive orders on a variety of topics including a task force to plan for phasing in the “opening of Texas”.
Our buildings and campuses are closed, but we are still “having school” through our @HomeLearning site following our original school calendar. In the meantime, here are the things that we are working on:
This is very sad news for all of us; however, we also understand that this decision although difficult to make, is in the best interest of the long-term health and wellness of everyone.
We will be sharing more details in the coming days. Thank you all again for your continued support and patience.
As always, we want you to know that we are here for you! If you have questions or need assistance, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org or give us a call at 669-4700.
