Happy Wednesday Pampa Families and Friends,
We are READY and so EXCITED to see the smiling faces of our students and parents tomorrow at one of our eleven distribution locations. Our staff has been preparing over 2000 devices, over 3000 meals, and countless instructional materials for our students! WOW---what an operation! Everyone has worked tirelessly to prepare for tomorrow’s first distribution day. Please watch for Distribution Location signs located at each site and be on the lookout for traffic directors to help guide you through the flow. Each location will have at least one food distribution site and one device site. PHS will have multiple sites divided by alphabet. Please visit our website for all distribution information. We have taken extra precautions to clean all of the devices and we have trained all staff on safety protocols for each distribution location. We ask that you stay in your car and allow us to bring the food and devices to you. We want to do everything we can to keep the lines moving all the while keeping everyone at a safe distance. Thank you in advance for your patience and understanding. This is a big operation and we are prepared---and we know that there will be some hick-ups along the way. Together we will be making memories and sharing #moments that will become stories our children tell their children and grandchildren someday. J
We have also enjoyed seeing the numerous posts that our students and families have been sharing on social media. We love seeing you doing fun activities with your family, learning new skills, crafts, and even some new inventions. Keep them coming! When you post, please include our hashtags #stayhomePampa, #moments, and #PampaProud. We are working on a fun idea for next week…but we will send more information out on that later. Stay tuned….
Our focus tomorrow and Friday is to make sure that each child in our PK-12 Pampa ISD system has everything they need to be successful. If you have not heard from your child’s teacher, PLEASE let us know by emailing pampaisdinfo@pampaisd.net or by calling 669-4700 from 9 am to 1 pm.
Please know that we miss seeing our students and cannot wait until we get to be together again. Until then, let’s all do our part to stop the spread. Have a blessed evening and we will see you tomorrow!
