Meet Our New 2019-2020 Staff

Jasmine CordovaMeet Ms. Jasmine Cordova. Ms. Cordova will be teaching Second Grade at Wilson Elementary this year. She is a graduate of West Texas A&M University. She enjoys music, food, writing, naps, and spending time with friends! When asked about why she chose teaching as a career she said, "I chose to teach because I love kids and I am passionate about education. Teaching has been a calling on my life since I was about ten, and I am excited to put that calling into action." Olivia GutierrezMeet Ms. Olivia Gutierrez. Ms. Gutierrez will be teaching Health Science at Pampa High School this year. She is a 2009 graduate of Pampa High School and is a Registered Nurse. She enjoys being a mom, cooking out with her family and friends, and Dallas Cowboy football! When asked about why she chose teaching as a career she said, "I chose to teach because I love to help the younger generation be prepared for their future and to help them feel confident in that future." Brittany BurkhammerMeet Ms. Brittany Burkhammer! Ms. Burkhammer will be teaching First Grade at Austin Elementary this year. She is a graduate of West Texas A&M University with a degree in Elementary Education. She enjoys being outside, traveling, reading, spending time with family(especially her adorable daughter)! When asked about why she chose teaching as a career she said, "I chose to teach because I have always had a love for learning myself. I want to make an impact on my student's lives, and help them to believe in themselves as much as I believe in them." Ansley AdkinsMeet Mrs. Ansley Adkins! Mrs. Adkins will be teaching Kindergarten at Lamar Elementary this year. She is a graduate of West Texas A&M University with a degree in Elementary Education. She loves baking,  spending time with her family, spending time outdoors, and her dog! When asked about why she chose teaching as a career she said, "I chose teaching as a career because my mother is a teacher and I helped her in her classroom every day. I always knew that is what I wanted to do. I love teaching because it allows me to change the lives of students and make an impact in the community. Autumn HuntMeet Mrs. Autumn Hunt! Mrs. Hunt will be teaching 4th grade Science and Social Studies at Travis Elementary this year. She is a graduate of West Texas A&M University with a degree in Elementary Education. She loves watching Netflix, reading, and spending time with her family and friends. When asked about why she chose teaching as a career she said, "I want to make a difference in children's lives and educate the generations to come." Tiffany CarrMeet Mrs. Tiffany Carr! Mrs. Carr will be teaching 7th-grade math at Pampa Junior High this year. She is a graduate of the University of Oklahoma and has a Master's degree in Social Work. She loves to travel and spend time with her family and friends, especially at the lake. When asked why she chose to teach she said, "I enjoy working with children and helping them succeed. I truly enjoy math and enjoy teaching it to others." Please help us welcome Mrs. Carr to Pampa ISD and Pampa Junior High! #pampaproud
