I am sure that many of you are concerned about our potential threat for severe weather in the Panhandle today. I wanted to bring you some information about how we are handling the situation. We have a conference call scheduled with the National Weather Service at 10:30 this morning. At this call, the NWS works with school officials from all over the Panhandle to discuss weather conditions, predictions, trends, patterns, and to provide insight on the potential and likelihood of pin-pointed weather activity. After this call, we will have a much better idea of the conditions that are predicted for Gray County. We will notify the staff, parents, and the community if we need to make adjustments to our daily schedule. As always, the safety of our staff and students is our priority.
We encourage you to download the Pampa ISD app for alerts and important information.
