THANK YOU Pampa ISD Administrators, Teachers , and Pampa Law Enforcement

Although the lockdown caused our community to pause with fear this morning, many of the people in our schools and law enforcement did not pause and were not fearful.  They took immediate action and implemented beautifully our emergency crisis plan with professionalism, resolve, and courage.  The planning, research, training, and preparation that has gone into the development and implementation of the Pampa ISD emergency crisis plan is nebulous and tedious.  We appreciate their approach and their commitment to ensuring that we have these protocols in place in our schools.

I would like to take this opportunity to THANK them for their preparedness, quick action, and most importantly for their unwavering dedication to our students and staff.  Today’s world is providing us with many challenges and causing us to question everything.  I choose to believe that GOOD can come from almost any bad situation.  Today, the GOOD NEWS is that our students and staff are safe.  The GOOD NEWS is that we have been blessed, once again.  The GOOD NEWS is that we have so many people like them that dedicate their time, service, and careers to ensuring the development of our young people, the promotion of our strong local community values, and the safety and security of our schools.
